The Illini Union Bookstore is the official bookstore of the University of Illinois. As one of the largest independent college bookstores in the country, the Illini Union Bookstore is the continuation of a book exchange organized in the early 1920s by students at the university. This building is a four story above grade masonry / steel framed building, with brick, stone and aluminum curtain wall exterior.
This project was completed by Williams Brothers Construction Inc. (WBCI) in 1994.
